Speakers
Dr. John McKeon, Principal at iAIR Institute and CMO of Airmid Healthgroup
A Trinity College Dublin-trained physician and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, John founded Allergy Standards Ltd while working as an Emergency Room Doctor, driven by the recognised link between the built environment and airborne health triggers. John is Principal at the Indoor Air Innovation & Research Institute, a 501(c)6 where he leads efforts to advance the conversation around healthy buildings, partnering with industry leaders and driving change through innovative research. He is an active member of several influential committees in the built environment, including ASHRAE’s Environmental Health Committee, NAHB Healthier Homes and Communities Subcommittee and is the current Chair of IEC SC 59D Advisory Group 17 Allergen Team, contributing to the development of industry standards, advocating for healthier indoor environments and practical solutions that connect industries and research. He is Vice President of ASHRAE Ireland.
Dr. Jessica Green, Program Manager, Resilient Systems, ARPA-H
Dr. Jessica Green brings more than two decades of expertise spanning scientific research, biotechnology innovation and commercial application. She joined ARPA-H in October 2023 from Phylagen, a San Francisco-based microbiome analytics startup where she served as founding CTO and CEO. Prior to that, she was a professor of biology at the University of Oregon, where she co-founded and directed the Biology and Built Environment Center. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Green led the development of novel methods for monitoring airborne pathogens in large office buildings. Her work has been recognised with the Blaise Pascal International Research Chair, a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship, and two TED Fellowships. At ARPA-H, she leads the BREATHE programme (Building Resilient Environments for Air and Total Health).

This forum offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with leaders shaping the science and policy of indoor air quality, alongside peers from across the building science, research and industry communities. Topics will explore airborne health threats, advances in healthy building design and the evolving role of indoor environments in supporting public health.
