Airmid Healthgroup’s Move to Citywest Business Campus: A Commitment to Innovation in Life Sciences and Biotechnology

At Airmid Healthgroup, our purpose has always been clear: to advance scientific research and innovation in indoor air quality, aerobiology, and infectious aerosols

September 2019, by Anna O’Donovan

Due to our continued expansion, we have outgrown our initial footprint in the Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus so it was crucial for us to find a location that aligned with our expertise, values, and future ambitions. That’s why we were excited to announce our relocation to Citywest Business Campus—a move that places us at the heart of Ireland’s evolving life sciences and biotechnology ecosystem.

Why Citywest? A Legacy of Innovation

Citywest Business Campus is more than just a corporate hub; it has become a key location for global leaders in biopharmaceuticals, medtech, and advanced manufacturing. The area has attracted some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies, including:

  • AbbVie – A global biopharmaceutical leader with a strong presence in Ireland, focused on groundbreaking therapies.
  • Saint-Gobain Life Sciences – A key player in materials innovation for medical and bioprocessing applications.
  • Unilever and Pfizer – Both operating critical functions in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

These companies, along with others in biotech, diagnostics, and cleanroom manufacturing, have established Citywest as a dynamic center for scientific progress. This rich ecosystem makes it an ideal location for Airmid Healthgroup, given our expertise in microbiology, virology, and product validation for healthier indoor environments.

A Perfect Fit for Airmid’s Scientific Vision

At Airmid Healthgroup, we work with some of the most innovative brands in healthcare, consumer products, and building technology to test, validate, and optimize solutions that improve indoor environments. Whether it’s assessing air filtration efficiency, measuring pathogen survival in real-world conditions, or pioneering new approaches to bioaerosol research, we thrive on collaboration and cutting-edge science.

Citywest’s blend of multinational R&D activity, infrastructure, and connectivity makes it the perfect location for us to expand our capabilities. Being in close proximity to Ireland’s biotech leaders, top-tier research institutions, and advanced manufacturing firms creates opportunities for partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and cross-disciplinary innovation—all crucial to tackling modern challenges in indoor air quality and public health.

What This Means for Our Clients and Partners

Relocating to Citywest positions Airmid Healthgroup at the forefront of scientific collaboration and industry engagement. Our move means:

✅ Enhanced Facilities & Capabilities – Our new location allows us to scale our scientific research and testing operations.

✅ Stronger Industry Connections – Closer ties with leading life sciences and biotech firms will accelerate innovation.

✅ Greater Impact – By being at the center of Dublin’s tech-driven life sciences hub, we can drive more effective solutions for healthier indoor environments.

As we settle into our new home, we remain dedicated to our vision of a world without building-related illness. Citywest Business Campus is more than just an office space for us—it’s a strategic move to push the boundaries of scientific discovery and make a real impact on public health.

We look forward to welcoming our clients, partners, and collaborators to our new facility. Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this exciting new chapter at Citywest!
