The Summit brought together an inspiring group of professionals working across the medical technology and biotech sectors, all focused on advancing innovation and improving public health. It was a valuable opportunity to share insights from my work at Airmid Healthgroup, where we explore how microbiology, virology, and indoor environmental quality intersect.

Building on the momentum from my recent presentation at the National Medtech & Biotech Summit in Citywest, Dublin, I was pleased to once again present on the topic of “Health Friendly Air – In Pursuit of Environmental Wellness.” In Dublin, we had an excellent response to our discussion on indoor air quality and the role of scientifically validated testing in product development. I shared a case study from one of Airmid’s R&D projects, demonstrating how robust microbiological testing can support innovation in the healthcare and biotech industries.

Both events served as a reminder of the growing recognition that indoor environmental health is a critical component of public health, and that science-led solutions are key to advancing wellness in the spaces where we live and work.

Events like these remind me of the power of collaboration between research and industry. I thoroughly enjoyed connecting with other scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs who are working to translate research into real-world solutions.

Thank you to the event organizers for facilitating such important conversations. I’m excited to continue contributing to this important dialogue on health, innovation, and indoor environments.
