Welcoming Natasha Gordon PhD: Airmid Healthgroup Contributing Author

Dr.Natasha Gordon brings scientific expertise in microbiology and infectious aerosols to the Airmid team.
Natasha brings deep scientific expertise and a global research perspective to our microbiology and virology team. She graduated from the University of Auckland with a BSc (Hons) First Class in Biomedical Science before completing a PhD in Molecular Medicine, where her research focused on the effects Staphylococcus aureus proteins have on the innate immune system.
Following her doctorate, Natasha spent two years as a post-doctoral research fellow at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, further developing her expertise in host-pathogen interactions and immune modulation.
At Airmid, Natasha contributes to studies on viral decontamination, antimicrobial efficacy, and the microbiological integrity of indoor environments. Her work supports our mission to validate the health claims of products designed to improve indoor air quality, protect public health, and meet the most rigorous international standards.
Through her blog contributions, Natasha will share insights from her research and explore emerging challenges in infectious aerosol control, surface hygiene, and environmental exposure science. Her writing will help translate complex microbiological data into actionable guidance for manufacturers, architects, and health and safety professionals.
