Following a recent research and innovation project carried out in our state-of-the-art climate-controlled chambers, the team at our accredited allergen testing lab will be travelling to the USA to present their findings.
The indoor air quality and health related project utilized the allergen analysis facility, a world first with INAB accreditation, and will be presented at the American Academy of Asthma Allergy and Immunology (AAAAI) Annual Meeting 2012, March 2-6, in Orlando Florida.
The AAAAI is a world premiere medical meeting to expand knowledge and skills in allergy, immunology and other issues that relate to indoor air quality.
The AAAAI Annual Meeting draws the allergy/immunology specialty’s academic and clinical leaders to showcase new research and discuss other developments in allergy, asthma and immunologic diseases. The meeting is attended by more than 7,700 allergist/immunologists, related physicians, allied health professionals and industry representatives.
Presenting data at this prestigious American meeting follows on from the recent showcasing of another airmid project to the European Commissioner for Research and Innovation at the European Innovation Convention. Keeping a steady drum beat of publications, patents and R&D projects is fundamental to the airmid business.
“We are very excited to be showcasing the study data at a such a prestigious event and are looking forward to the thought provoking debate the data will stimulate” said Dr Angela Southey, one of the lead researchers on the project.
The exact nature of the exciting research is press embargoed until after it has been presented at the meeting.
