Emma Gribben MSc (née Walshe) is Principal at the Academy of the iAIR Institute, where she leads educational programs focused on indoor air quality, public health, and the built environment. Her work bridges science, policy, and design—translating evidence into accessible learning for professionals across healthcare, architecture, and engineering.

Emma’s work is rooted in a strong commitment to public health and wellness. She has contributed to cross-disciplinary collaborations with healthcare providers, academic researchers, and industry leaders. Notably, she played a key role in the DCU Business School Practicum and supported health-aligned innovation initiatives such as Tarkett’s Design Days, which spotlight how materials and design impact human health.

Her background includes hands-on health promotion and public engagement, including work with HIV Ireland and academic research into CPR and AED knowledge among community sports groups. She continues to advocate for vulnerable populations by shaping learning experiences that empower professionals to design and manage healthier indoor environments.

Emma graduated from Ulster University with a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care Policy and went on to complete a Master’s in Health Promotion and Public Health. Her writing and teaching reflect a dedication to real-world impact and evidence-based practice.
