 We are able to assess the effects of:

  • Treatments such as chemical, probiotic and negative ions
  • Freezing, washing and/or tumble drying
  • Cleaning/killing/removal ability of appliances using steam, heat, UV or chemicals

Sampling is carried out with a mitest instrument. Live mite counts are enumerated by proprietary or internationally recognised methods. Allergen levels are quantified using an Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) for:

House Dust Mite

Airborne allergen levels are quantified using an augmented ELISA with a detection level of 20 pg for House Dust Mite allergen and 2.5 pg for Cat allergen.
